The Call Wall

These calls have already found their homes, but they’re part of what makes GM Calls what it is. Handturned, tuned to hunt, and crafted with care - take a look at some past builds folks have taken to the blind or the collector’s shelf.

Matched Set of Buckeye Burl Charlie’s sleeved in smoke acrylic wrapped up with ABW/Brass/Buckeye 5 pc bands and CA finishes turned in my regular and “Old School” shape.

ABW Burl sleeved in Ebonite, Ivory acrylic caps, brass/black triple inlays wrapped up with a feathered brass band and oil finish. Cut and tuned as a Charlie, but turned in the old style shape.

Straight grain cocobolo sleeved in abw, abw caps, copper/black triple inlays, wrapped up with a coco/copper/abw 5 pc band and a CA finish turned in the “old school” shape and tuned as a charlie.

Crosscut Cocobolo sleeved in ABW, ABW caps, brass/black triple inlays wrapped up with a coco/abw 3 pc band with a little added bling and a CA finish tuned as a Charlie.

Customer provided Swampboat acrylic blank from swamp wood products sleeved in spartech Coke bottle wrapped up with a stippled brass band tuned as a Charlie.

A little different order here. Customer just asked me to build what I want to build with little specifics behind what was wanted. So, it’s always fun to turn loose on a call and this is what I came up with!

Amboyna Burl sleeved in brown acrylic wrapped up with a stippled copper band and oil finish tuned as a Charlie.

Elk Antler sleeved in coke bottle acrylic wrapped up with a stippled copper band and CA finish tuned as a Charlie.

Got 9 customs finished up as groomsman gifts. All are green dyed maples sleeved in fluorescent red acrylic wrapped up with custom engraved bands and an oil finish!
